Public beta policy
Privacy notice
The Methodology Compass public beta is designed to learn from aggregate use without building user profiles.
Effective August 4, 2026
What the beta records
- Anonymous counts for a small set of actions: loading a preset, pinning a scenario, copying a summary, and submitting feedback.
- The scenario name and recommended foundation associated with those actions.
- When you submit feedback: the rating, optional message, scenario name, recommended leader, and submission time.
What the beta does not intentionally collect
- No account, name, email address, advertising identifier, or cross-site profile.
- No analytics cookies or local-storage identifier.
- No slider-by-slider history and no full copy of your recommendation unless you include it in feedback.
How information is used
Beta records are used to understand which scenarios are useful, locate confusing recommendations, validate the model, and prioritize improvements. They are not sold or used for advertising.
Data handling
Feedback and anonymous event records are stored with the site service and periodically reviewed and deleted when they are no longer useful for beta analysis. Hosting providers may process standard request information needed to operate and secure the service.
Please avoid sensitive information
Do not enter confidential, personal, regulated, or client-identifying information in the feedback box. The beta does not need that information to evaluate a recommendation.
